SpeedCell Super Bike 4.2 Battery - Standard Terminals

The SpeedCell Superbike 4.2 battery is a 240 Amp Battery, and weighs only 1lbs 11oz (0.766Kg). Super compact design, lightweight, and powerful!

It's durable: 1% total capacity loss with stop loss at 2% so it never drains down to zero.

No maintenance: The battery does not need to be on a trickle charger or battery tender type device. If it ever needs re-charging, just use any 5amp or higher charger.

Safe: The SpeedCell battery packs are made using A123 cells. The construction process is proprietary and these battery packs do not require balancing. The packs are built specifically for motorcycle applications with cylindrical cells due to there robust construction (withstands shock and vibration) and discharge properties. Each SpeedCell pack is constructed to a Department Of Defense (DoD) standard, and is capable of withstanding 100G load, working effectively in a wide range of operating temperatures from -50*C to 49*C (-58*F to 120*F).

Please do not confuse the SpeedCell battery packs with lesser products on the market! It is important to understand that these packs are NOT RC hobby type packs & their internal construction as well as cell grade reflects this. Each and every cell is individually tested before it makes it to the construction phase. These packs are not Lithium ION construction. SpeedCell uses Lithium Ferrous cells that are not volatile or unstable. They will not rupture when puncture nor produce an energy chain.

Applications

Motorcycles where a more compact battery is needed, and where weight savings is critical.

Motorcycles where the charging system has been removed (stator removed) under 750cc.

Basically stock engines from 750cc v-twins to 1400cc inline 4 cylinders with stock stators, and Triumph 675cc triples.

Difficult to start, highly modified 2 cylinder engines larger than 1000cc, or highly modified 1400cc or larger 4 cylinder engines typically with high compression will likely require the larger 6.9 or 9.2 batteries. Hard starting motors with high compression designs may require this 9.2Ah battery (as opposed to the 6.9). Bikes with minimal or non-existent (total loss) charging system will need this 9.2Ah in most cases. On modified bikes, please check with us for the proper application. Prolonged repeated starting attempts on a smaller Speedcell battery than recommended can overheat and damage the Speedcell battery.

Optional new "Quick-Disconnect" for those configurations where the battery needs to be removed regularly or if you would like to use the battery on multiple machines. If you choose the Quick Disconnect option for your battery, it will come pre-wired with a quick release connector and will also include connector that you will install on your machine.
